Dr Keith Ray MBE FSA MCIfA, formerly County Archaeologist for Herefordshire, is now an Honorary Professor of Archaeology at Cardiff University. His latest book, co-authored with Professor Julian Thomas of the University of Manchester, is Neolithic Britain: The Transformation of Social Worlds (Oxford University Press, 2018). This has been nominated for the award of ‘Book of the Year’ at the British Archaeological Awards at the Festival of Archaeology at the University of London in January 2020. A paperback edition is due for publication in March 2020. His talk this evening will feature the Neolithic in the area around Ludlow.
